Lieberman book may become bargain campaign memorabilia
WASHINGTON -- Sen. Joe Lieberman is looking to snap up a few bargain books.

The Connecticut Democrat's 1999 tome on public service isn't attracting much public interest these days, so he has asked the Federal Election Commission for permission to buy some of the salvage copies himself.

In a letter to the FEC, Lieberman's 2006 re-election campaign said he would give out the copies of his studious book, "In Praise of Public Life," to his supporters.

snip.......

According to Lieberman campaign lawyer Cassandra Lentchner, in a letter to the FEC, the publisher has determined that the book is no longer saleable and "intends to dispose of its remaining inventory."

Lieberman has asked to buy copies for $3.40 each and give them to campaign supporters in connection with fund-raising efforts. The senator would receive no royalties or other tax or economic benefits from the sale.

4. The tide is turning...we have a lot to thank Bush for.
The neocons have been exposed and their hubris has cost the lives and resources of many and Bush is screwing up miserably as a result. I predict, that there will be a massive "falling away" of the real Christian masses who have been so aptly manipulated by the neocon agenda expoused by their learders. This administration has been by far too arrogant, too untruthful, too vindictive and too incompetent to make their own agenda work. They are being caught in their own pitard! The passing of RR, the mythical savior of the RW and the one President who began the demise of America by beginning its return to the worst within us, is really the defining event for taking America back for Americans.
