Limbaugh announces end of 10-year marriage (RUSH) Limbaugh announces end of 10-year marriage (Family Values!
JILL BARTON Associated Press
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh announced Friday that he and his wife, Marta, were divorcing.
The Limbaughs "mutually decided to end their marriage of 10 years" and have "separated pending an amicable resolution," according to a statement released by Limbaugh's publicist.
The couple shared a $24 million oceanfront mansion in nearby Palm Beach. Limbaugh often broadcasts his daily three-hour show from a studio in a commercial area of Palm Beach.
...snip...
It was the third marriage for both Limbaugh, 53, and his 44-year-old wife, who were wed May 27, 1994 at the Virginia home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Thomas officiated the ceremony.
___________ Unseemly to gloat at the misery of others, but when it's Rush, how can you resist? Frankly, I can't imagine how any woman could live with that bloated gasbag and his venomonous temperament, let alone put up with his hillbilly heroin habit. Can't wait to hear Al Franken get his hands on this, or to hear Randi Rhodes' interpretation!
The party of family values. Except their own damn families. Hypocrites.

1. More from the "sanctity of marriage" crowd |

I would imagine the two of them settled all the finer details of the separation to avoid a trial, as the discovery process could very damaging to a man under investigation for drug abuse.

oxycontin. Why is it that factory workers, construction workers, and grocery store clerks have to be drug tested before they can get jobs, but right wing talk show hosts don't?
