9/11 panel: No al Qaeda cooperation with Iraq
Sorry if this is a dupe...didn't see it posted...

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The panel investigating the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks found "no credible evidence that Iraq and al Qaeda cooperated on attacks against the United States," according to a staff report issued on Wednesday.

The report contradicts statements from the Bush administration that Saddam Hussein had ties to al Qaeda.

In response, a senior administration official traveling with President Bush in Tampa, Florida, said, "We stand by what Powell and Tenet have said," referring to previous statements by Secretary of State Colin Powell and CIA Director George Tenet that described such links.

3. What I also find interesting is that they don't know Bush* is the CIC!
(Sorry, this came from a previous report on the Commission...link gone now...tried looking for it and no luck)

"Furthermore, the newspaper quoted commission chairman Thomas Kean as saying "there was a lot of chaos" in the White House response. It said commission members wanted to know why Bush was allowed to continue meeting with Florida schoolchildren after the attacks were known, and why Bush hopscotched around the country on Air Force One before returning to Washington."

BUSH* IS HE COMMANDER IN CHIEF, good grief! why "allowed?" The question should be "why did Bush run around like a chicken without a head!"
If he is NOT the commander in chief, then OFF with him to Crawford!

This is the link...but is a goner.....
