North Korea could accept IAEA inspections in six-party talks: analysts

Wed Jun 16, 4:29 AM ET BEIJING (AFP) - North Korea could agree to inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of its nuclear weapons program at six-party talks next week, if the United States agrees to compensation in return, analysts said.

The third round of talks will be held from June 23-26 in Beijing with few expecting any big breakthroughs because of uncertainties over US presidential elections in November, they said.

"During the talks there will be a possibility of some movement, but there is not a big chance that there will be a breakthrough," said Cui Yingjiu, a leading North Korean expert at Peking University.

"If the United States can agree or can accept that some fuel oil or other aid can be given by other parties, in exchange for North Korea announcing a freeze on its nuclear weapons program and its acceptance of IAEA inspections, then this would be a step forward (US is demanding that any freezebe agreed to as a step toward elimination of nuclear programs). <snip>

1. This is what Clinton agreed to 5-7 years ago and aWol screwed it up
listening to his Satan God for advice. It's the same as the economy and the way the American Media Whores lie/distort facts. Maybe things are getting a little better but everything is way below where it should be and let's compare the economy and N. Korea to where is was when Clinton left and where things would be if aWol wasn't insane!
