2. Wow
Incredible. And I wonder how many more fell off the rolls and can no longer qualify for unemployment insurance.

4. The group "over so many weeks unemployed" is at its highest level in yrs
That stat is somewhere - and gets reported now and then-

but our major media does not seem to worry about that fact.

8. Chuckles - I Honestly Think FRODO Means Well And I am His Biggest Critic
I just honestly believe that from his perspective all is right with the world.

Some of us live in a completely different world that is not reflected in absolute numbers and charts.

Maybe losing his job and trying to find new work would put him in a different frame of mind.

Mind you, I am not wishing either him or his family any ill will.

I would only suggest that he comes and live with me for a month.

I guarantee his perspective would change drastically.

PS - Papua, I really don't believe I am teacher material. I enjoy sharing with people but my patience is not infinite.

9. I found I had the same problem with Teaching - but it is an idea

with legs if only because there are jobs.

And one can call on the tougher admin types if you don't mind having the class "laugh" at you. I found I needed "big brother" - and I found I did not like that - but there were a lot of jobs at the time and I suspect that if there had not been a lot of alternatives, I would found a way to ignore my displeasure at my need for a "big brother".

"patience not infinite" is another name my kids call me by!

7. We have got to get you into Teacher Cert course - or into a state
that waives the course for science/math teachers!

That is if you want to teach ????

I'd think twice too - since I found I was lousy at maintaining control of a class!

Good Luck.

10. Friday Was A Day-Of-Mourning "Holiday" And Offices Were CLOSED...
So that was only FOUR DAYS of filings... how many MORE would it have been on FRIDAY... traditionally the busiest day of the week.
