UK Diplomats Have Custody of Iran Captives

TEHRAN (Reuters) - British diplomats have taken custody of eight British naval personnel detained in Iran and have boarded a plane to leave the Gulf region, the diplomats said Thursday.

"We have custody and we are on board," one told Reuters.

Iran's Arabic-language television channel al-Alam earlier reported the servicemen were being taken to Tehran.

One of the 'evil' countries letting them go? If that does not hit home to the people of the Middle East I will eat my hat.
