Victims upset at Bush's praise of ex-con
They say embezzler hasn't paid them restitution

http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2004/06/24/loc_loc1abush.html

"Touting his program to rehabilitate ex-offenders in Cincinnati on Monday, President Bush put his arm on Tami Jordan's shoulder and called the convicted embezzler a "good soul" and an "inspirational person."

But the victims of Jordan's crime - a small, family-owned business in Fairfield that lost $308,170 to Jordan's deception - say she isn't rehabilitated and hasn't paid the court-ordered restitution."

Apparently this is a warm-up for pardoning his old pal, Ken Lay?

I guess Bush never met an embezzler he didn't love.

4. White civil criminals.
There has to be a name for this phenomena. We live in skewed times where our criminal justice system takes a magnifying glass to scrutinize behavior from dark citizens, and yet there is this entire segment of the population which gets off light because their light, even though their crimes ultimately destroy more lives. And there is nothing the peons can do about it, because these white civil criminals are well-connected and can beat the system.

9. Question is, is her soul as good as Putin's soul? George knows
Edited on Thu Jun-24-04 09:18 AM by yellowcanine
Putin is a good man based on his soulfulness, as judged by George. Heh. And here I always thought only God could look into a person's soul. Silly me.

Edited to make "his" a "her" in the title. I guess I should have known Tami was a her but it can be tough these days with all of the name spelling variations and such.
