Bush says Europe Supports US on Iraq
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/ap/20040625/ap_on_go_pr_wh/ireland_bush

What the fuck?

<snip>
"First of all, most of Europe supported the decision in Iraq. Really what you're talking about is France, isn't it? And they didn't agree with my decision. They did vote for the U.N. Security Council resolution. ... We just had a difference of opinion about whether, when you say something, you mean it."

<snip>

Is he trying to look stupid?

6. That quote is from the Carole Coleman RTE interview.
Bu$h succeeds in looking not only very stupid, but very arrogant and petulant too. Bu$h is a vapid, petty little man. Watch the interview here (Realplayer required):

14. Bush says a lot of things....
that are all complete BS.

His lips are often flapping long before his brain gets out of 1st gear (if it ever does, there is some question there...)

18. Just got back from 4 weeks in Switzerland and I've never
encountered such loathing as that which the people feel against *. I was actually thanked by people for Canada not having followed * into Iraq. I also heard politicians using his name when talking about someone who talks one way and acts another, i.e. an out and out liar. It was quite eerie, really.

19. Did he somehow miss the 100,000 British demonstrators?
I mean, for crying out loud! Bush goes on a state visit to London, and they practically have to cordon off the city. John LeCarre and 99,000 other people march and carry signs opposing his policies, and he didn't NOTICE? Okay, so he surrounds himsself with yes-men and yes-women and resists reading the newspapers, but surely there's nothing wrong with his eyesight.

And the Italians marched against him.

And the Irish did when he met with Blair in the North, and they're apparently demonstrating again.

But this is the guy who doesn't admit to mistakes and thinks no ill results from his policies.

Somebody needs a 12-step program, and fast.
