Iraqi court to charge Saddam 'within a week'

With the US transfer of power to the interim Iraqi government, ousted President Saddam Hussein and his former aides are now under the jurisdiction of Iraqi justice.

Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt, deputy director of operations for US occupation forces in Iraq, said on Monday that Saddam will stand for trial before an Iraqi court within one week.

is exposed for his atrocities, shows how the U.S. helped his atrocities, is convicted for his crimes against humanity, and then rots away in some jail cell for the rest of his life - although i'm sure he'll get the death penalty.

3. Saddam is the Man Who Knows Too Much

He'll be executed forthwith, without having talked to the press or any Iraqis.

That's why the US will continue to have custody of him until his execution.
