N.B. university insists Quebec dog learn English
FREDERICTON - A blind francophone student at the University of New Brunswick has been barred from English-immersion classes because his guide dog only responds to French commands.
Guide dogs learn at least 50 commands. Noiseaux said some are very simple like left and right, which are just "g" and "a."

2. My dog seems to prefer to respond
to commands in Spanish. He'll just stand there when I say "Come here" but in frustration I'll try "Venga aqui" and here he comes - a southern squirrel dog (pretty squirrely) - I don't know - maybe he heard it as a very young pup???

4. My dog was a French German Shepard
French was her first language, then English and Spanish, German came later.
I remember my Mother being shocked when we visited my Uncle in Mexico to learn that his dog Apache, only knew Spanish and Nataul.

3. You think that's tough, my dog only responds to Latin proper.
And my mom said that I should have taken Latin instead of outdoor archery....seems that she was right.
