Pentagon Taking Risks with Manpower, Democrat Says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pentagon is ``taking great risk'' by using drastic measures to field enough forces in Iraq for hostilities that may go on for years and coincide with other major conflicts, a top congressional Democrat on military affairs charged on Wednesday.

``We're taking great risk with everything,'' said Rep. Ike Skelton of Missouri, senior Democrat on the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee. ``Once you've used these measures of last resort, what happens when you need to reuse them in subsequent rotations, especially since we may be in Iraq for years?''

...is the chimp/cheney team of cynical crooks. They've been taking huge risks to keep their illegimate regime in power.

One huge gamble is inevitably followed by another. They are destroying all of our national institutions including our ground forces.

If they retain power after November, even more radical and dangerous measures are in store for the public and the military.
