is a hoax" I don't know what to think! This certainly caused plenty of agony and it sure sounded like his family believed his life was in danger. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5387977

3. There is definitely something funky about this whole thing... |
|
Makes you wonder if he defected and then tried to cover his butt with the kidnapping story....

I would be very glad if he has voluntarily skipped out and is now in safety (Lebanon, maybe?) than to think of him being held against his will under the threat of a beheading! Jesus! Let's hope he is somewhere sipping coffee with freinds and reading emails from his relieved parents.

to worry about a child over there knowing that out of over 100,000 soldiers we are losing about 4 a day, it's another to see the kidnapping video knowing that almost every other person kidnapped has been beheaded. What a horrible thing to put your parents thru.

how come the other guy who got beheaded wasn't given this much attention? hmmm? maybe because his family didn't follow the RNC talking points as outlined to them?

14. My Tinfoil Thoughts.... |
|
My thoughts ever since this whole mess started was that our government thought that they could make a martyr out of him and turn the tide against the insurgents by having Arabs kill an Arab. Announce that he had been slaughtered and see what happens. What the government didn't expect was that the folks that they blamed it on said, "We didn't do it" Now what does the government to do? They are holding him and need to get rid of him. Sure, just way too easy to let him go. See ya later. This whole thing STINKS. I just don't see how he would have a deserter as the military professes. Maybe I am just naive.
