German immigration bill approved
This is Germany's first law providing for regulated and planned immigration, as previously immigrants had largely come as guest workers.

The bill's supporters say it is crucial as the country battles with an ageing population and a skills shortage.

The Bundestag, Germany's lower house of parliament, backed the bill in March.

The bill's approval effectively puts an end to a four year bitter struggle, in which the conservative opposition fought Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder's centre-left coalition government's proposals in both the parliament and the courts.

No European nation has the right to restrict immigration. It's pure unadulterated racism. :eyes:
