Iran Leader Says U.S., Israel Behind Iraq Kidnaps

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's Supreme Leader said on Tuesday he believed the United States and Israel, rather than Muslims, were behind the kidnapping and killing of foreign nationals in Iraq.

"We seriously suspect the agents Americans and Israelis in conducting such horrendous terrorist moves," the official IRNA news agency quoted Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as saying in a meeting with visiting Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong.

Iran is a totally truthfull country and we should defer to
their judgement. Of course the US and Israel are evil while

3. Not believe they are Muslims

is different than accepting there are radicals which are hurting the Muslim religion. I can understand a mindset that Israel and the US are behind things, at least through a viewpoint of it being the catalyst. The words get twisted to say directly responsible though as in doing the actual kidnappings, beheadings, etc.

The best thing Iran can do is speak out and condemn actions of radicals and separate the Muslims from the extremists.
