We celebrated Bastille Day last year, but this year we completely forgot. Damn!
For those who don't know, today (July 14) is Bastille Day. Now celebrate!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/3893323.stmIt was to celebrate 100 years of the Entente Cordiale. I hope they looked good - they do normally do a good parade.

4. Jeez, what a great picture |

I'm guessing that is the Grenadier Guard in the foreground. They won their bearskin hats against Napoleon at Waterlow. I've seen the Arch up close and personal, but a long time ago, 1960.

6. They are coming back home |

They occupied Aquitaine (South-West of France) during 400 years, they massively buy houses all over France and they parade in Paris.... Let's keep Joanne d'Arc to rest in peace in her ashtray ;)
