Latham calls for PM Iraq apology

Mr Latham said today Mr Howard was one of the few world leaders who had not conceded that Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction when war was declared on the country.

"We're still trying to get the apology from Mr Howard in this country because he is one of the few world leaders who has not fessed up to the fact that there are no weapons of mass destruction," Mr Latham told radio 3AW.

"In his case, he sent Australians to war for a purpose that wasn't true.

"Let's get the prime minister to own up to what was a monumental mistake."

Bush should apologize, too.

1. Apologize? Since when did a Repuke allow an African American murderer

apologize and then walk out of court? The entire Repuke Leadership including aWol should be found guilty of MURDER!

2. Well, I don't actually see either of these things happening.

I certainly can't imagine any of our leadership charged with murder for this little adventure in war-profiteering, however appropriate that might be.

And I don't think Bush will ever apologize, either.
