Shriver to attend Democratic convention

Maria Shriver, the famously Democratic wife of Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, will return to her roots later this month when she attends the Democratic National Convention in Boston.

Spokeswoman Terri Carbaugh said Shriver, a member of the Kennedy family, plans a low-key visit primarily to attend family gatherings and watch her uncle, Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy, deliver a prime-time speech to delegates the second night of the convention.

"She is going back for family related activities -- ceremonies that honor the legacies of her family members," Carbaugh said.





Hmmm…nothing about hubby…I recall a while back that the gov was “considering” attending with his wife….I guess he traded in his wife for prime-time at the GOPer fest…ya know where his loyalties lie…. <chuckle chuckle>
