Ex-Pres Bush Sent Ken Lay A Supportive Note (Reuters)
http://www.reuters.com/financeNewsArticle.jhtml?type=bondsNews&storyID=5685831

>LONDON, July 16 (Reuters) - Former U.S. President George H. W. Bush and his wife Barbara sent former Enron Corp. (ENRNQ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research) chairman Kenneth Lay word of their support after he was indicted on criminal charges, the Financial Times quoted Lay as saying in a report on Friday.

>"They've sent word to us," Lay said in an interview with the newspaper, adding that public support from other erstwhile political friends had been scarce."

The nerve of these two. He is just sending the magic signal to all the NeoCons that he controls to do what they have to do. Pardon Lay and take care of his buddies.

6. Thinking of a campaign ad….
That might say something to the effect that it might be worth noting that for all those that were affected directly or indirectly by both the illegality by which Enron conducted itself in its operation and it’s ultimate collapse….you might like to know that former President George H. Bush, the father of the current idiot-in-chief, sent a word of “support” to Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron.

We would like to know if anyone that was affected by the sham that was Enron were offered any words of support either by the current Bush administration or the former…..we didn’t think so….

8. Yup, stupidity runs in the Bushie Family!
Think about it. Here's Enron. And, here's "Kenny-Boy" who allegedly scammed millions from thousands of folks all across America, particularly the employees of Enron in Texas . . . and what does Daddy Bush do? Lends his "support" to Kenny-Boy?!!

Do these mental midgets know how to think at all? :dunce: Just a sec while I adjust the clarity on my monitor . . .

:kick: :kick: :kick:

11. It's disgusting. A state was robbed and Lay had a major role
and the bush family supports it.

13. Could GHWB's word of support be a sort of "sweat off my brow" thank you ?
Sort of like GHWB saying something like, Thank you for taking the sweat off my brow; thank you for taking the fall for my boy and not harming my boy's presidency even when I promised that "my boy isn't going to fail you" in a campaign speech in the run-up to the 2000 elections.

Again; dad in the forefront, bush boy in the shadow of daddy's towering power. Will he ever let the bush boy mature; will he let the bush boy face his own music, err, indictments for crimes against the state, crimes against the nation, crimes against the world?

Does anyone need any clearer proof that the BFEE is a crime family?

And there still are so many good people getting suckered into(believing)in BUSH FAMILY VALUES!!!

Kerry ought to just use the news of the elder bush's support of Ken Lay to make an ad asking the American public DO YOU SUPPORT BUSH FAMILY VALUES? a sort of reply to Bush's family values ad on Kerry... IN THE AD HE OUGHT TO PLACE THE NAMES AND FACES IN SHADOW OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN RUINED AND LOST THEIR LIVES RETIREMENT TO the BUSH-CHENEY-LAY Enron machinations.Or, they ought to have people dressed in mourning robes asking the Bush-Cheney-Lay triumvirate WHERE'S MY MONEY? WHERE'S MY MONEY?

14. This is obnoxious!
Is it a signal that Kenny Boy doesn't have to worry; the pardon is on the way?

This family is evil!
