He was also believed to have been a diplomat in Belgium, and had worked for the Israeli foreign ministry for 10 years, the network said.
"That is direct evidence that this is Israeli state involvement, whether Mossad or the diplomatic corps," Professor Ralph Pettman of Wellington's Victoria University said."
