Linda Ronstadt Praises Moore, gets the boot and a reprieve?

Singer-songwriter Linda Ronstadt was escorted out of Planet Hollywood Saturday under the orders of Aladdin President Bill Timmins who instructed her to not come back. She had dedicated her song, "Desperado" to Michael Moore and urged her listeners to go see his film, Farenheit 9/11.

Michael Moore http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/index.php?id=93">responded to Timmins offering to sing a duet of "America The Beautiful" with Ronstadt and to show all guests of the casino hotel his film for free.

Now, it seems that Planet Hollywood is on the block. It may change hands as early as September, 2004 in a deal with http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/07/23/entertainment/main631397.shtml">Planet Hollywood CEO Robert Earl who is awaiting a gambling license.

This might set the stage for a pretty wild duet -- though I'm not so sure about Moore's singing voice.
