Cleric fights Bush 'prejudice'
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/07/24/1090464907999.html?oneclick=true

Lawyers acting for radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri argued yesterday he would not receive a fair hearing if sent to the US to face terrorism charges because US President George Bush has prejudiced any trial by publicly calling him a terrorism supporter.

US officials are seeking al-Masri's extradition on a 10-count indictment accusing him of trying to set up a terrorist training camp in Oregon, being involved in hostage-taking in Yemen and funding terrorism training in Afghanistan.

Edward Fitzgerald, counsel for al-Masri, said the defence team was also concerned that some American evidence against the preacher may have been obtained from tortured witnesses - contrary to both British and American law - and that he could face the death penalty for charges relating to the Yemen hostage-taking.

Now we have tainted trials because of the reputation of torture - it will contaminate everything.

1. didn't you know
bush is a man of "action" and is "decisive". Therefore, that makes him a "leader".

2. Il Duce and Der Fuhrer were also leaders
Their actions were decisive, too!
