A Look at U.S. Military Deaths in Iraq (906)
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040726/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_us_deaths&cid=540&ncid=1480

As of Monday, July 26, 906 U.S. service members have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq (news - web sites) in March 2003, according to the Defense Department. Of those, 671 died as a result of hostile action and 235 died of non-hostile causes.

The British military has reported 60 deaths; Italy, 18; Spain, eight; Bulgaria and Poland, six each; Ukraine, four; Slovakia, three; Thailand, two; Denmark, El Salvador (news - web sites), Estonia, Hungary, Latvia and the Netherlands have reported one death each.

Since May 1, 2003, when President Bush (news - web sites) declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended, 768 U.S. soldiers have died — 562 as a result of hostile action and 206 of non-hostile causes.

1. I just had this vision of Bush draping his "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner
over each coffin. Why is this miserable excuse for a human being--and miserable failure as a president--still on the face of this earth, let alone still in charge of our country, leading us to inevitable destruction?

It's a rhetorical question, of course. But we will answer it in November, when he will at last no longer be in charge of our country. As for the "still on the face of this earth" part...well, there's nothing we can do about that. But I'd like to see him locked in a room with photos of the dead and wounded soldiers staring down at him endlessly, day and night, with the screams of the kids being tortured in the Iraqi prisons being being played over and over and over...until Bush goes totally insane. He's already more than halfway there. Can't happen soon enough!!

Sorry. Bush Must Go!!!
