1. I am reading it, and it is scary as heck. Gave a copy to our library.

I asked them if they wanted a copy, told them what it was about, and they nearly grabbed it out of our hands. I think I will do that more often with books like that.

They have built an awesome machine, and we must fight back.

2. I have to agree with David Brock...

I am just glad I can turn to places like DU and bloggers. Believe it or not LBN is a great place to get daily news since we act like investigative journalists. I don't think these people took these things into consideration in their attempts to take over the media. And would miserably fail to take over these types of medium...

6. I'm GLAD to agree with physioex about LBN!

It does not get said nearly enough around DU that "we act like investigative journalists." This page is a wealth of information 24/7, thanks to Cube Gophers and Media Malcontents who take the time to hunt down important news and post it here.

LBN is better than a newspaper and just beats the hell out of any TV network you can name--when it comes to getting the NEWS OUT!

The book is excellent however. We have to know what we're up against in order to have any chance of combatting it successfully.

Brock's book is the best one I've seen about how the RW controls the media, and how the situation has come about. I highly reccomend it.

I love the fact he's not keeping their secrets anymore. This will make him a target, which he undoubtedly knows. He's very brave.
