Joe Wilson Says Kerry Hasn't Asked Him to Resign

Wilson told CNSNews.com that the Kerry campaign hasn't asked him to resign from his advisory role. Just last week, another Kerry adviser, Sandy Berger, quit upon acknowledging he took classified documents from the National Archives.

"I still serve as a surrogate and I still also serve as a member of the foreign policy advisory committee," Wilson said. "I am not a paid adviser, and I talk to the campaign. You can quote me on that."

I just posted a New York Post story that had quotes from the Kerry campaign which confirmed what Wilson says here, but it was moved due to editoral slant. Since the campaign and Wilson are saying the same thing it must be true. I'd link to the Post article but that might not be allowed either.

since they posted the right wing article and then went on to bash kerry. i'm not sure many of them care though.

The post I included with the Post story said, "Sorry about the editorial slant, but since the right has been abuzz with the claim that Kerry dumped Wilson, I thought this would put that to rest."

How is that a bash of Kerry?
