Bush used earpiece during debate! See link ...
From John Reynolds:

"I've been thinking for years that we need something major to blow this scam wide open, like bush exposing himself on national tv. Last night bush did just that.

The 'let me finish' quip was clearly bush talking to ( probably Rove) in his earpiece- saying let me finish before you give me the next answer. He blows it 60 sec into his 90 sec reply- so no warning lights had gone off and lehrer had not motioned for him to end as he had plenty of time left.

my guess is that it's an implant, not something stuck in his ear."

2. I've posted on the ear piece thing so many times,
I'm starting to sound like a broken record. Could the implant have something to do with the postponement of his physical?

Hearing it isolated in the audio clip makes me even more certain that he has a little helping hand in his ear.

What can we do about it?

3. It may be true, but it'll be seen as tinfoil by most.
We need a smoking gun - something easy to grasp - to bring him down this way. Remember, they didn't get Al Capone on racketeering or anything sexy. They got him on tax evasion. I have a feeling Junior's downfall will be something mundane as well.

4. While I believe smirk uses an earpiece, I really don't think
this is a slam dunk example. I rewatched the debate last night, and payed close attention to this piece, used the TIVO rewind, etc. While on the surface it appears that smirk is interrupting himself, what we cannot see is the moderator. It is possible that Lehrer was making movements that appeared to be getting ready to ask another question, and smirk may have been talking to him, to postpone Lehrer.

Just an option. We would not want to make a big deal out of this only to have it shoved back in our face.

22. Since you have the debate on Tivo...
There are some shots (I watched on ABC) of Bush from the back.
There seemed to be a wire running under is ill-fitting jacket.
Maybe you could take a look and see what it looks like to you.

38. Thank You! This Ear Piece Bullshit Has To Stop.
If Junior WAS using an earpiece there would be a delay between when he's asked a question and when he answers.

There is none.

Further, if he had an earpiece in the debate with someone feeding him answers... he'd have made a hell of a lot more sense.

47. I would have to agree about making more sense if there was an earpiece
And this has been an idea floating around for a while and someone should had gotten proof of it happening by now. There has been one instance of an audio being heard while gw* talking in a previous speech/interview. Nothing to prove the use of an earpiece or other device.

If a device was used by gw* to repeat what he heard... would he be the only one hearing it or would a mike pick it up?

20. No.. Bush wasn't even looking at Kerry...
He had no way of knowing WHAT Kerry was doing. I watched carefully, and Kerry was not even looking that interested... Bush was slumped toward the audience, looking straight out.. not at the moderator nor Kerry.. the "let me finish" came out of nowhere. I'm not trying to assert a conspiracy theory, but we all discussed that outburst when it happened, he was talking to NO ONE... it looked like he was looking into the audience.. it was bizarre.

14. My guess is a text messenger on the top of the podium
which is why he hunched over and looked down every time he got flustered, which was frequently. My guess is that it gave him cues as to which canned speech he needed to pull out of his ass, and cues when he forgot words in the middle of it.

An earpiece or an implant would be very distracting. Text messaging is perfect, because it's something he could refer to when he felt he needed to.

17. it appeared to me that he was sending code with his blinks
to someone in the audence. if you watch the video, you'll notice the timing of his blinks and his looking out into the crowd towards the left. where were his handlers? backstage? or in the audience?

49. Well don't think it would be code...
if he was looking for someone in the audience then the blinking would be trying to pick that person out while looking in the lights. Or if it was somewhere where it was darker then the blinking would be an attempt to reduce light into his eyes so he could see better in the dark.

Personally, I think his blinking is one of two things or both... lying and/or being extremely nervous.

15. He DID keep cocking his head as if he were hearing someone else
or that he was expecting to...

The Bush camp had no control over the final camera angles, and they certainly couldn't take a chance on something in his ear being seen. An implant is a plausible solution. But if they were using it for the first time and it isn't working properly, that would explain why he kept cocking his head as he normally does when he speaks.

40. he *was* hearing someone else!
Why, he was waiting for the Very Voice of God! He's openly admitted that he gets direct instruction from Above. And all that stuttering and fumbling in his speech, that wasn't nervousness or inarticulation--that was glossalia, the inspired language of the Holy Spirit! Next debate, look for further signs of Bush's Divine Right to Rule as he rolls around on the floor and handles snakes.

sentences, followed by his terra mantra, while he seeems to be listening/waiting for more guidance.

WHERE IS Rove WHEN Bush IS SPEAKING?

29. Shots from behind
Someone who has the debate taped needs to watch a couple shots from behind, at least one good one maybe midway through, where clearly there is something large bulging in the back of Bush's jacket. It could be for the legit debate microphone, I have no idea. But there is definately some device attached to Bush you can see bulging through the back of his jacket.

36. Well, it should be considered that
Bush probably has some kind of bullet-proof vest he wears under everything. Paranoid is as paranoid does, and I'm willing to bet any time he's in public, he's got some kind of protection on under his suits. Also probably why they fit so poorly -- anything that would effectively stop a bullet would have to be heavy and reasonably inflexible.

39. No ear piece
This is BS. If anything his horrible performance was proof he did not have one.

The primary problem I noticed was that he *did not know what to say*. He also kept using *the same twisted answers*.

If he had an ear piece this would NOT have been the case. That's the whole bloody point of having one.

I see no reason to spread this tin foil theory (causing us to lose credibility) when we have an entire debate full of factual material to use against him.

50. Maybe the answer is more obvious
Maybe he really is going insane. He's been disconnected from reality for most of his life due to his enormous wealth. If he actually had a soul the thought of the damage he has done would be heart-rending even if it was justified. The guilt might be causing him to lose it.

I spoke with a RW friend of mine, and the impression he got is that Bush doesn't want the job anymore. Psychologically it must be hard to campaign for a job you don't want in your heart of hearts. Bush has been a slacker his whole life. The interplay between his prideful "call to destiny" and his desire to just say "Fuck it" and the cold, hard realization that his dada can't save him this time has to be tearing him apart.

It also explains the hardline against protestors at Bush's rallies. It might be that at this point he needs adoring crowds like a drug to keep the guilt away. A number of schizophrenics turn to illegal drugs to "medicate" themselves at the onset of their disease. Bush might be using his fans as the drug and at the same time as co-dependants.

The earpiece story is a non-starter. I agree with those who say that if he had one in, he would have sounded measured and articulate. Those who saw the debates saw a blabbering, blubbering, ill-prepared, petulant baboon.
