4. Read the fine print...
...Nader/Camejo grabs around 2% in a three-way race (the actual race being run). That vote is coming from self-identified independents, for the most part.

Still too close for my comfort.

5. Another poll....
Have seen so many polls each way I don't really bother anymore. Still good news is better than bad, but I have poll fatigue :)

8. He very well could.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A55224-2004Sep27.html

Buried DEEP in this article cited above is the following quote--note that the article is from the SEP 27 WAPO:

With both candidates planning to spend much of Tuesday preparing for the first debate, officials of the Commission on Presidential Debates said the Bush-Cheney campaign is leaving open the possibility of pulling out of the second or third debate because the commission has decided not to sign the debate agreement between the two campaigns. The nonpartisan commission said the campaigns' request for such a signature was a first since the nonpartisan group was formed in 1987. Kerry's campaign said he will debate in any case, but the Bush campaign has sought assurance that all of the restrictions on the format will be enforced.

It would not surprise me if weecowboy invokes the "commission clause" especially if he doesn't start getting his act together right quick. I saw him on TV today, answering all of the questions that he could not answer at the debate, and using a THREE RING NOTEBOOK, reading directly from prepared text, and flipping through the pages to find specific talking points while exhorting his minions. It's obvious his team GAVE HIM THE REBUTTAL POINTS, but typically, the moron didn't study for the biggest test of his life, the test he was supposed to ace, because National Security is his strong suit.

11. Three ring notebook? lol.......
Actually, no lol. Not funny when the leader of the free world needs a cheat sheet for foreign policy.

9. Don't believe it
it is more

They are not including the undecided or 18 - 24 year olds

In addition, they are spinning things for bush, not necessarily against Kerry, but for bush
