Clinton works the phones

...
"He's on the phone, he is offering his counsel to people, and he was very excited by the debate on Thursday night," Sen. Clinton said. "I was also relieved because he kept his blood pressure down."

Americans got a glimpse of the real John Kerry in Thursday's debate, Sen. Clinton said.

"He had a chance for the American people to see him unfiltered ... and he came across as strong and decisive and in control of the facts," she said.

President Bush, on the other hand, "seemed on the defensive, he seemed ill at ease, kind of uncomfortable, and I chalk that up to his unwillingness to really take hard questions from the press or anyone else."

2. Hillary's exactly right about that
Good snip. His primary disadvantage was having no experience in conversing with anyone who disagrees with him.

4. Its true. All that insulation from criticism a la Rove has made him unable
to tolerate anyone who doesn't agree with him. That combined with his infamous temper is a lethal combination.

7. She's totally correct. When you surround yourself with "yes-men"
and other assorted sycophants, AND you tell Bob Woodward that, when you're king - OOOPS, I mean "president," it's people having to explain themselves to YOU, NOT the other way around, this is what you get. He doesn't think he owed ANYBODY an explanation about ANYTHING he does. And this attitude is NEVER checked, only encouraged and reinforced. On the extremely rare occasions when he DOES have to explain himself, he can't do anything but fail. He's a boat without a rudder, metal that's never been tempered. A fancy house built of cards. First breath of wind that comes along blows it straight over.

3. Good news from the Clintons- I took a poll
that asked when he would be back. I said in the next few days.
Little did I know he already is back. Thank you! I've missed
hearing his voice in all this repuke madness.

5. John Kerry "unfiltered" and the two Clintons working together
The Republicans have had a bad week and hopefully it will only get worse for them and better for America!

8. Not only on the phone counselling -- says he's "drumming up support"...
financial, I'll bet.

"Former President Clinton has been working the phones from home to drum up support for Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign, but is still awaiting medical clearance before he hits the campaign trail again, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said on Saturday."

Go, Big Dog!
