3,000 gather for Dump Bush rally at Caras Park
Sunday's Dump Bush rally was a full-throttle, raucous liberal party as only Missoula could pull off.

Well-known writers, loquacious professors, local actors, artists, musicians and activists led a crowd of 3,000-some people in a revival-like frenzy of liberalism in Caras Park along the banks of the Clark Fork River.

A cadre of drummers announced the gathering with a giant "Dump Bush" sign and called people to the park with their rhythmic pounding and slow march along the river east from the University of Montana, across the Higgins Avenue Bridge and west to the rally in the heart of downtown.

With every step the small parade grew with the spontaneous addition of more people of the same mind: Vote out Republican President Bush. Vote in Democrat John Kerry.

4. That's just a freeper
There would have been two attending but her husband ordered her to protest while he stayed home, drink beer and watched NASCAR in his cozy Lazy-boy.

9. Draft this bitch, and the other Bush supporters along with her.
The army recruiters should be paying this gal a visit with enlistment forms in hand. Put her ass over there on the front lines and listen to her whine.

With half the country supporting bush's war, how is it that enlitsments are down? These cowards want a free ride on the backs of others.

These repukes who support bush's regime should be required to sign a letter of intent, that in the event that more military is needed, that they, their children and grandchildren would be the first to go.

What a joke! These pathetic people would be the first to find a hole to crawl in.

12. Virtually every Red State receives more federal funding than
they pay in taxes. Just the opposite is true for most Blue States. They suck the giant tit and then have the gall to complain how government is too costly.

5. Make Montana lovely, kick Marc Racicot ass out.
What's wrong with the good folks in Montana to let this junior crook roam your land.

And again the media lied. A friend told me that there were a hell of a lot more than 3000 at the rally.

6. What's on the radio in Montana
From PBS' Religion and Ethics Newsweekly
http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/week803/cover.html">Religion and Ethics Newsweekly

excerpt:

BOB ABERNETHY, anchor: In much of rural America, talk radio tends to be conservative --rarely liberal. And in some places, archconservative radio broadcasters rail against immigrants, environmentalists, the UN, and everything they think is liberal. Critics call them purveyors of fear and say they sow the seeds of hate. Defenders say it's a free expression of ideas. Lucky Severson reports.

LUCKY SEVERSON: Traveling under the big sky of Montana requires some sturdy wheels, preferably a pickup truck, and a good radio, which usually offers FM music and AM talk.

In this part of the world, on the airwaves conservative talk has a virtual lock. Odds are the talk will progress from Rush Limbaugh to someone even more conservative -- like John Stokes, owner of station KGEZ in Kalispell, Montana.

JOHN STOKES (Radio Host, KGEZ, Kalispell, Montana, on Radio): When the Left extremists are out of power, they are vicious, and it is pure, unadulterated, satanic evil. And they may look like your neighbors. It's evil.

SEVERSON: If you're in Montana, or much of rural America, you will hear very little of what people in these parts call "namby-pamby" liberalism on AM radio, and that's music to John Stokes's ears.

8. Why do you hate America?
It is down to that now when I point out bush is a moran. The Pugs are in meltdown mode now. Keep up the good work! If we can outdraw his events at every stop the media might report on some of them.
