Nine killed in US air raids on Fallujah

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/iraq_us_raids_fallujah_toll

<snip>

Doctor Adel Khamis of Fallujah general hospital said Monday that the second of the two strikes killed nine people, three of them women and two children.

He said that 14 people were wounded in the strike, while no casualties were reported in the first raid.

The area is a theocratic enclave virtually inaccessible to foreign reporters and death tolls provided by one side or the other cannot be verified independently.

A military statement said US forces "conducted a precision strike against a building where approximately 25 anti-Iraqi forces network members were moving weapons on the outskirts of Fallujah."

1. Like "shooting fish in a barrel" in Iraq.
The great number of civilian deaths in this bloodbath is only causing the "liberated" to become increasingly angry with the U.S.
Read where one MOOLAH called the USA, "the world's greatest terrorist nation" at a Baghdad mosque last Friday.

I cannot believe we can kill so many Iraqis and take so few casualties ourselves, but then BushCo wouldn't want us to know that if we did, at least not before the election. But then the same happens in Israel, where the IDF blitzkriegs are also like "shooting fish in a barrel", especially in Gaza which has a population density equal to Manhattan (but without the high rises!).

3. The reason.................
we kill so many Iraqis and take so few casualties is because we're bombing the crap out of them from above. 1,000 lb. bombs aren't that discriminate, they tend to shred anyone near their detonation friend or foe alike.

4. Our bombings of the past few days have killed a score of children.
We sure a doing a good job of liberating the Iraqis -- liberating them from the reins of their life on Earth. We will be as hated in 150 years from now in Iraq, as General Sherman is hated in Georgia to this very day.

2. 30 more days. I think we can get back to the stone age, easy.
Want to leave the people of Iraq with nice thoughts about Americans you know.
