Citizens of IL and WI now able to purchase Rx drugs from Europe and Canada
CHICAGO – Illinois Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich and Congressman Rahm Emanuel (D-Chicago) were joined in Chicago today by Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle to launch the new I-SaveRx prescription drug importation program -- the first program in the nation to allow citizens to purchase lower cost, safe prescription drugs from Europe and Canada. Wisconsin is joining the new program developed by Illinois, providing approximately 18 million residents in the two states with access to lower-priced prescription drugs through a network of 45 inspected and approved pharmacies and wholesalers in Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Consumers in Wisconsin and Illinois can lookup I-SaveRx prices and start the enrollment process by calling toll-free 1-866-ISAVE33, or visiting www.I-SaveRx.net.

“Today, we are here to announce two things: First, beginning immediately, our prescription drug program, called I-Save Rx, is now open for business. Anyone who lives in Illinois can start saving money on their prescription drugs today. And second, I am delighted to announce that, thanks to the leadership of Governor Jim Doyle, the State Wisconsin is now joining our program,” said Gov. Blagojevich. “So now, the nearly 13 million people who live in Illinois, and the more than 5 million people who live in Wisconsin, will have the opportunity to save hundreds – and in some cases even thousands – of dollars each year on the high cost of their medicine. It means our seniors will no longer have to spend more money than they have just to afford the medicine they need.”

1. Florida has a place where you can order drugs from Canada
At least there was one in Sebring on RT.27. Now it might not be there now due to hurricanes, but it was there on Mar.29 when we came back home to VA.

I don't understand why they said "the first program in the nation to allow citizens to purchase lower cost, safe prescription drugs from Europe and Canada."

Go Jim Doyle! My mom will need to start Tamoxifen treatments for breast cancer prevention by the end of the year. In the US it's about $200/month and she just retired. Hopefully, she can get get it from Canada closer to $100/month since she'll need to take it for 3-5 years.

Aren't Dem governors great? Now if we only had a Dem president...

3. Indole-3-Carbinol is something you may want to read about....
Enter this -----> i3c breast cancer

In the search window on this page... there is much more there...

If you get any.... make sure it contains DIM as well.

7. If you go and read about it... remember it is a derivative of I want to
say... cabbage. 300mg per day is what you will most likely find out there.... it works best if it contains DIM as well.

I think some pharmco paid like 2 million to have a research specialist figure out what it was doing inside the cancerous tissue several years ago... perhaps 5.... and the fact of the matter is that it just turns off (at the DNA level) the process that promotes the aberrant growth.

Saying that you cannot take 300mg of I3C a day... would be like saying that a half pound or better of cabbage a day would harm you in some way.... and we know how much sauerkraut has been eaten over the years... after the Tamox course, (which I am not in agreement with) this stuff could be a real winner for her... and if you find the right medical doc... it could even be a real winner DURING the Tamox.

Also... fish oils are protective against breast cancer... "protective against" something you may want to read also... since you could benefit from its protective effects now. The ratio between the healthy fats and the bad fats sets one up for a low grade inflammatory process.... correcting this balance by consuming omega threes and other healthy fats diminishes the body's desire to remain in a low grade inflammatory state. That is a good thing.

Omega-3 Fats Prevent Breast Cancer
Researchers evaluated over 250 patients with breast cancer and analyzed their fat relative to 90 women without breast cancer.

The analysis showed that there was indeed a protect effect of omega-3 fatty acids on breast cancer risk and supports the imperative balance of the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio as being important in the development of breast cancer.
