Congresswoman seeks its removal from Colorado TV

By Deborah Frazier, Rocky Mountain News
October 5, 2004

U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, R-Colo., has hired an attorney to force Colorado television stations to drop an ad showing a pink-suited, blond actress portraying the congresswoman picking a soldier's pocket.

>snip
"The vote was split along party lines. Many Democrats will side with the Republicans on veterans' issues, but because of the cuts, all but one Democrat voted against it," Udall said.

>snip

"The ads are inaccurate," said Guy Short, Musgrave's chief of staff and a campaign volunteer. "The stations have a responsibility to take them off the air

"No matter how you slice it, she supported cuts, and they know it," Knaus said.

5. Is it posted on the web?
Sounds like it is worth seeing! And worth emailing to voters in her district!

By complaining about it, the foolish GOP pickpocket creates a desire by the voters to see what the fuss is about.

6. Get out of the kitchen, Marilyn!
If you can't take the heat. And what's this? A Republican hiring a trial lawyer and running off to the courthouse? Can't she fight her own battles? Musgrave has to go whining to some judge that she hopes is "activist" enough to stop the dissemination of inconvenient facts that make her look bad?

Better call the whaaaaambulance! Poor Marilyn has a badly stubbed toe.
