Kerry/Edwards will put an end to Drug Advertising....Not reported ?
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 03:24 PM by KoKo01
Edwards said that last night. Given that Merck has a possible over 27,000 cases of heart attacks and heart disease due to VIOXX and it looks like the FDA (Scotty McClellan's
brother is in charge there) held off on a report about it...that should have been big news today.

He also said twice that he would allow drug imports from Canada. The Vioxx though is a big prolem and who knows what else is out there.

I for one think this is great news. Too many of these drugs being hyped out with big marketing budgets just to pump the stock. And, I'm sick of hearing them pushed. No more Viagra ads, either. :D

1. I moved this to GD 2004
I have no idea why there is no link. Perhaps another moderator and I took action at the same time. Koko's post is now in GD2004
