Edwards' Wife Delivers Tough Security Talk (World changed?: "Well, duh.")

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Using blunt, dismissive language, John Edwards' wife said Wednesday the Bush administration has done little to make the nation safer since the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Quoting a phrase that President Bush used frequently in the first presidential debate, she said, "'The world has changed since 9/11.'"

"Well, duh. The world has changed, and you need to do something about it," she said.
