US alleges Habib trained 9/11 hijackers

The United States military has released new documents that allege Australian Guantanamo Bay detainee Mamdouh Habib was aware of plans to launch the terror attacks on America on September 11, 2001.

His lawyer, Stephen Hopper, says the documents have been served on Habib's legal team as part of the US District Court process.

Mr Hopper says he believes the allegations will be thrown out of court.

"They are rather silly allegations," he said.

"They seem to think that Mamdouh Habib trained the September 11 hijackers in martial arts, except Mamdouh's only got a yellow belt in karate and we believe he was in Australia at the time when all the hijackers arrived in America, so I don't know how he could have done that unless he uses ESP.

"It's quite clear that they're ridiculous."

1. This administration 'alleges' a lot of crap. And that's EXACTLY

all it is.

This has been a very bad week for bush* & Co. Perle even stooped so low yesterday as to say that Saddam was trying to 'fool' us somehow into attacking him when he said that he didn't have WMDs.

These people have committed a great crime. I wonder when they'll pay for it.

3. Lotfi Raissi aka Fabrice Vincent Algiers

was charged with having trained
Hani Hanjour
the amazing hijacker pilot who crashed into the Pentagon.

The charges in Britain were dropped,
once the US failed to produce any evidence whatsoever,
and the man was released.
He is now suing the FBI and if memory serves,
he has already received some compensation from somewhere.

Recently in Phoenix, a federal grand jury brought more charges against Raissi. His original U.S. charges involve lying about a bad knee in his U.S. pilot's license application.
