Bush beginning to sound desperate: cant control news from Iraq
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 08:01 AM by niceypoo
ST. LOUIS - George Bush's real political enemy now isn't so much John Kerry as it is the flow of the news. Not long ago, Kerry's decision to attack the president as commander-in-chief (remember all those Swift Boat vets in Boston?) was dismissed by analysts (including me) as naïve at best, folly at worst. Well, it may turn out to have been the move that wins this race.

On edit heres the link:

Looks like Kerrys attacks on Bushes Iraq policy are bearing fruit......

It's the president desperately trying to tear down Kerry as the news tears down the president.

As things now stand, Bush is left with only one argument and justification for having launched a war that has cost 1,000 lives, $150 billion and whatever goodwill America had won in the aftermath of 9/11. His last-resort reason: Saddam Hussein might have developed weapons that he might have given to terrorists that might attack the United States.

As sad as it is, all the bad news from Iraq is good news for America. How anybody can support this clown GIVEN THE FACT THAT EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE HAS FAILED is beyond me.

1. He can't even control news from the US
Bad job numbers, thousands of layoffs announced this week, Tom Delay, voter registration fraud in several states- the republicans look like crap right now.

5. He has succeeded at wrecking the economy; the job market; the fiscal
integrity of the Federal government; the fiscal integrity of the Social Security trust fund; the value of the dollar; international goodwill, treaties, and alliances; the environment; worker protections; and the people, land, and infrastructure of Iraq just for starters. A strong argument could be made that all this were planned and, if so, he has succeeded, not failed, beyond anyone's imagination in everything, all according to the far-right, PNAC plan, the fruition of every RW conspiracy, all to make this a corporatist, theological police-type state.

Harris Inc.(Katherine Harris owner)controls all the news going into and out of Iraq.If you really want to know whats going on go to foreign news services with no connections to the American FCC(which by the way is run by Colin Powells son).

8. At his campaign rally yesterday it was obvious he's unhinged.
Leaning on/over the podium with that demented monkey face telling the faithful that it's Kerry who is misleading America.

Meltdown imminent.

9. Why national security debate was first:
"
Many observers have said the Bush team was too smart by half in insisting that the first debate be about foreign policy and defense — that is, Iraq. I am told that this wasn't done out of arrogance or ignorance; it was done that way in part to leave them plenty of time to repair any damage if Bush screwed up."
