Campaign 2004: Despite TV ad move, GOP 'strongly' backs Nethercutt

By CHRIS McGANN
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER CAPITOL CORRESPONDENT

Despite canceling $1 million worth of television ad space here, the National Republican Senatorial Committee says it has not lost faith in George Nethercutt's campaign to unseat Democratic Sen. Patty Murray.

The committee, which is the main source of soft money for Senate GOP candidates, canceled more than $1 million of reserved network advertising space in the Seattle market earlier this week.

Some Democrats have suggested the move is a sign that Nethercutt's unimpressive showing in recent polls has given the committee cold feet about his campaign. He trails Murray by between 8 and 22 percentage points, depending on the poll.

"That's ridiculous," said Nethercutt's spokesman, Alex Conant.

He reneged, so the voters of Washington will do it for him, six years later.

3. I'm so sick of the Osama ad he's been running
He wants to implant his one-dimentional terror thinking on the public and it's good to see it hasn't been too successful. The real ideologue freak shows can't fit two thoughts in their minds at the same time.

Patty tried to explain why bin laden wasn't already hated throughout the Arab world and the ourtrageous ad has an incredulous voice asking "She thinks he's improooooved lives????". NO THIS IS THE US WE DON'T LOOK FOR REASON OR UNDERSTANDING HATE ATTACK HATE ATTACK.
