8. I think you may be overestimating the public's concern for the fate of

those seized by the warlords. I doubt many non-news junkie voters even know he was a Christian.

3. "Mh. We never thought that would KILL him..."
Bush is totally screwed. The only thing this can get any worse for him is if Saddam follows suit.

9. without knowing any details, I can only wonder
if his death had anything to do with this:

http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/edit/archives/2004/10/09/2003206190

In a stunning insight into Saddam's preparations for war provided by former deputy prime minister Tariq Aziz, the report describes how Saddam called his senior military officers together in December 2002, only three months before the invasion, and informed them that he had no WMD.

The officers until that point had believed Saddam had had some hidden, and the revelation resulted in a sudden drop in morale as they realized they would have to confront the US without WMD. The report also records an officer saying that if the Iraq military had had WMD, Saddam would have used them to protect his regime.

Hasn't Aziz been dead a few times before (during the war, he was reported killed at one point)?

Interesting thing... upon googling "Tariq Aziz," I found out that another "Tariq Aziz" is an agent for Pakistan's Musharraf.

23. Doubt it...
they're a News Corp channel like Fox except they operate in Australia and the UK. Unlike Fox, though, they actually have some reporters and try to do serious news.
