"Close race," but Salazar has edge

In a Post poll, 46% favor the Democrat
vs. 44% for Pete Coors. And Salazar has
support among voters who favor President
Bush.

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Ken Salazar holds a slim lead over Republican Pete Coors, according to a new Denver Post poll.

If the election were held today, 46 percent of the 630 respondents said they would vote for Salazar, and 44 percent said they would vote for Coors. That is within the poll's 4 percentage point margin of error.

Nine percent said they were undecided, and 1 percent supported other candidates.

The poll of randomly selected registered voters was conducted Oct. 4-6.

1. Thanks for this link. These two will lock horns on MTP tomorrow.
I suspect Coors freakishness will be exposed pretty good.
