2. Boy am I getting jaded. This part of the story made me laugh. |

<snip>
"It is not surprising that some of the candidates are raising the question (about the ink)," said former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Bernard Aaronson, the team's co-leader. "Perhaps some of those who don't do so well are trying to provide an excuse for why they didn't do so well."
<snip>
SOME OF THE CANDIDATES? Try all of them but george's boy Karzai. This guy is a master of understatement.
The true test will come if or when Karzai tries to leave the building without armed American escorts and fighter jets.

3. and meanwhile, the freepers celebrate the 'first election of a head of |

state in 5,000 years'.
(From Free Republic)
To: Ragtime Cowgirl "In a democratic process, winners and losers have responsibilities. We do not yet know who is the winner in this election. However, the responsibility of all candidates is not to raise allegations of wrongdoing intended solely to paralyze the democratic process. For Afghanistan to win, the losers in the election should not undermine the achievement of the Afghan people," Khalilzad said. Paging Al Gore, John Kerry, and Terry McAwful...

6. Bush Selected A Puppet |

And he'll stick with the selected puppet. It reminds me of the days when Saddam got 99% of the vote in the free elections.

I wonder how long his Black-water USA Mercenaries can protect his sorry ass from assassination.
As he scurries in his nightshirt, between his Concrete Bunker and his Armored Helicopter.

8. Amazing how like the Soviet's in Afghanstan we have become |
|
The whole thing is a sad pathetic charade on par with the Soviets in '80. The only difference is we don't have our army there trying to 'pacify' every square meter of land.
