Pakistan Test Fires Nuclear-Capable Missile
(our "ally" in limiting the threat of WMD...ugh)

Pakistan Test Fires Nuclear-Capable Missile

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan successfully test-fired Tuesday an intermediate-range ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads as parts of its efforts to boost its defenses, a military statement said.

Nuclear-armed Pakistan conducts regular missile tests, despite a revived peace process with nuclear rival India. The last time Pakistan test-fired a nuclear-capable missile was on June 4.

"Pakistan this morning carried out another successful test of the indigenously produced intermediate range ballistic missile Hatf V (Ghauri)," the statement said.

It said Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz witnessed the test of the surface-to-surface missile, which has a range of 1,500 km (940 miles). In March, Pakistan test-fired the Shaheen II ballistic missile with a range of 1,250 miles. It said the missile was capable of carrying nuclear warheads to every corner of India.

2. Wonder what the range is? US has been having the Pak army bomb

its own citizens for a while now, and the practice is not spectacularly popular.

Uncle Sam has also put them on notice that if they remove Busharaf, they'll seize the nukes and let India vaporize the whole place.

4. Do they have missle capable nukes?
I think it's one thing to make a nuclear bomb, but it's harder to make one light enough and able to withstand the forces and vibration of a launch.

We attack those who may some day possibly dream of having designs on creating plans for drawing up a memo on thinking about obtaining the blueprints for a way to have a conference on thinking about wmds, but we ignore all those who actually HAVE 'em?

Got it.
