GRANADA, Spain (AP) - In a July 10 story about a
new mosque, The Associated Press reported
erroneously that it was the first mosque to open
in Spain since Moorish rule ended more than 500
years ago. It was the first mosque to open in
Grenada in that time span. Mosques have
previously opened elsewhere in Spain.
