Charges dropped in anti-Bush thong protest

HARRISBURG, Pa. Charges have been dropped against six Pennsylvania men arrested for stripping down to thong underwear and forming a human pyramid during a visit by President Bush.

The stunt was meant as a protest of the Iraq prisoner abuse scandal.

They'd been charged with disorderly conduct.

The district attorney in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, says prosecutors wouldn't have been able to prove that the defendants' actions served "no legitimate purpose." That's a requirement under the state's disorderly conduct statute.

1. It must have been one of those...........
"activist" Judges that ruled on this. No self loathing Republcian Judge would have let this opportunity slip by to subvert Democracy.

2. Here's a link

If you look at the video, I think you'll agree it's pretty scary when the authorities try to make something like this disorderly conduct. It was a peaceful and symbolic protest.

3. Why did the female in the video call them scumbags?
I mean 'technically' she could see their 'bags', but it was raining and the chance of them bring scummy was low.
Maybe is was a term of endearment, like when I call my co-workers jack-booted thugs.
