Kerry Unfit to Lead Amid 'Great Threats', Bush Says
http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=6519731&src=rss/topNews§ion=news

SUNRISE, Fla. (Reuters) - President Bush labeled Sen. John Kerry on Saturday a political opportunist who is unfit to lead amid "great threats" to America.

"At a time of great threats to our country, at a time of great challenges in the world, the commander in chief must stand on principle -- not the shifting sands of political convenience," Bush said at a campaign rally in the crucial battleground state of Florida.

The scathing tone of Bush's remarks highlighted the intensity of the presidential race as it moves into its final stretch with the candidates locked in a virtual dead heat.

_________

If anyone knows anything about "unfit", it's the Idiot King. F***g bastard.

2. Yesterday he said we need to elect him to improve health care, jobs etc
I caught part of a speech he gave where he listed all of the big problems in this country (that have gotten so bad under his 'leadership') as evidence of all the things that needed fixin' and how they need to put him back in to get somethin' done about these problems!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish someone in the campaign could get a tape of it, so incredible

3. What a goober
The greatest threat, Mr. Bush, is an attack on our nation. How did you react when you were told our nation was under attack? Did you rush to find out who was attacking us in case decisive action was needed? Did you? Nope. You sat there.

Kerry has shown leadership. You pretend. Goober!

8. Conspicuously absent
Seems to be any mention of his 4-year record in office. Anyone who could pretend that things are better now than they were in 2000 must be smoking some powerful stuff. It seems as if Shrub is running against a failed presidency and blaming John Kerry for it.

12. If we use that (accurate) language you used
We would be labelled "dirty" and "unfair" and accused of "trying to win the election at any cost" by the Republican-ass-kissing mainstream media sycophants.

Unfortunately 3 weeks is not enough time to slow drip these concepts to most of the sheople who are leaning towards Shrub.

10. * lying lowest scumbag on this earth.........coward...aol SOB

The greatest attack on American soil came while * was in office Bushs memory may have been affected by years of consuming alcohol, but ours are intact.

In addition, do you realize that when * make attacks on both of the Massachusetts senators he is insulting the entire state? The people of Massachusetts have elected Kerry and Kennedy for a good many years so they must like the service they're getting.

He should go back under his rock the freaking coward and stop trying to scare the American people. His smear tactics have become very tiring and I have to ask.........IS THAT ALL HE HAS GOT?

11. It is interesting that Bush calls Kerry "a political opportunist"
Bush should know a lot about "political opportunists". First of all, Bush himself is such a one. Secondly, so was his grandfather Prescott Bush and ... lastly so is his father, dear ole Poppy eventhough he manages to varnish some of it somehow.

Secondly, it is also interesting that he calls Kerry "unfit to lead", when we all know it is actually bush the one who is unfit to lead.

It is amazing how, in bush's refusal to look at his own soul, he is projecting the dark side of his very own soul on to Kerry. Bush does that a lot and so do Mommy and Poppy Bush and Brother Jeb.

14. Let me get this straight, a man who was politically
active in college vs. a cheerleader, a man to volunteered for combat duty and lead men into battle vs. a daddy's boy who hid out in the TANG and was AWOL to boot, a man who then went on to speak out and lead a charge against the very war from which he returned a hero vs. Chimpy's drunken years, a man who went to law school and worked as a prosecutor vs. Chimpy's cocaine abuse years, a man who shined the light on the BCCI scandal vs. the son of a man hip-deep in the scandal, who by this time was a drunken cocaine abuser, a man who etc. etc. etc.

This man is unfit to lead, compared to his opponent? Are we living in Bizzaro World?

It's insane isn't it. The way they have belittled and trivialised John Kerry's life and accomplishments in order to lessen the contrast with Dubya's is truly sad and pathetic.
I truly hope they do not win for I believe it would be wrong on so many levels that it cannot be let happen.

20. As the sands of the hourglass run low.....
the Chimp's rhetoric becomes more frantic and desperate with each passing day. The volume gets turned up a little. We get to see the Neanderthal face on every commercial, on every channel. It's no holds barred, now. No boulder they won't turn over to see their man elected.

Now wouldn't it be funny, at some campaign speech if Bush actually says this: "Look, this country has really deteriorated in these last 4 years. I want you to elect me to clean it up".

He actually said something to this effect at Debate #3. He said, "I've got lots to do, many things to finish for the American people".

Interesting how close to the truth he really is.

21. If Kerry has said this the headline would have read
Kerry: Bush Unfit to Lead Amid 'Great Threats"

Look how this headline forces you to read the statement by Bush before figuring out it was from Bush. While the Kerry headline puts you into a position of bias before reading the rest.

I guess W. defines "being fit to lead amg. great threats" as ignoring the threat, then going on vacation, then listening to a story about a goat while New York, D.C. and PA. burn.

Yeah, what a great guy. Creating more threats and chaos worldwide.

Someone please remember to pass me the hemlock, if this knucklehead manages to steal another election.

Effing delusional. "At a time of great threats to our country, at a time of great challenges in the world, the commander in chief must stand on principle -- not the shifting sands of political convenience," Bush said ...

He's talking about himself. HE'S the great threat to our country. HE'S the great challenge in the world. The world has to try to survive his pResidency.

May all the Karma come back to get him. On November 2, 2004.
