"Poll: Troops, families question Iraq strategy" CNN
http://edition.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/16/military.poll2.ap/

The poll found that 62 percent in the military sample -- 58 percent of troops and 66 percent of family members -- said the administration underestimated the number of troops that would be needed to establish peace in Iraq. (Part 1 of the Annenberg survey results)

And 59 percent -- 56 percent of troops and 64 percent of family members -- said too much of a burden has been put on the National Guard and the reserves when regular forces should have been expanded instead.

7. Why do the troops not support the troops?
Won't they undermine themselves if they are questioning themselves?

3. You sure?
I don't care what the polls says.

Think about this little piece of trivia, if you live in base housing (most families do), your phone conversations are fair game for Intel and security reasons. Yes your telephone is fully intervened at all times. You think that given the consequences (SO walking point, threats of loosing base privilidges and others) that families will actually tell the pollster, nope we really do not like our fearless leader and we are gonna vote for Kerry?

When I left Pearl Harbor the buzz was Clark, these days I am willing to bet the buzz is Kerry.

4. That's Funny
I live on base housing and I've had numerous conversations about what an idiot I think that Bush and his house of whores are. And guess what I still live in base housing.

My wife is active duty USAF, and when we recently saw that someone had put a Bush/Cheney sign on their lawn we contacted the housing office,it was down by the next day.

And to be fair if we had seen a Kerry/Edwards sign we would have done the same thing. As a former soldier I am a firm believer in the regulations that cover politics and the military.

My wife even has discussions with other personnel at work, as long as they do not show any kind of open disrespect, it's allowed.

5. What's more, a Republican owned private company will
process their votes. Not much likelihood for voter fraud there now, is there.
