Cadence Announces New Production From Logansport Project
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 05:29 PM by seemslikeadream
WALLA WALLA, Wash., Oct. 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cadence Resources Corporation (OTCBB:CDNR) announced today that production has commenced from the Billingsley well on its Logansport natural gas project, which is a joint venture with Bridas Energy, USA. The Billingsley well, in which the Company owns a 45% working interest, was drilled to a total depth of 10,154 feet, targeting the Hosston and Upper and Lower Cotton Valley formations.

Standard logs of the well were interpreted as showing that there are 214 feet of indicated pay encountered in the Hosston formation, 46 feet of indicated pay in the Upper Cotton Valley formation and 26 feet of indicated pay in the Lower Cotton Valley formation. The well also encountered 4 feet of indicated pay in the Pettit zone.

The initial completion by the joint venture perforated 26 feet of indicated pay in the Lower Cotton Valley. The well has produced at an average flow rate of 1,485 Mcf for the first four days of full production.

"This well appears to compare favorably with our other best wells on the northern part of the joint venture acreage," said Lucius Geer, chief consulting geologist for Cadence. "We are very pleased with the initial flow rates."

Richard W. Behan: 'A Republican businessman vilifies George Bush'

Schwarz' signature revelation is the story of what happened to an obscure Argentinean company, the Bridas Corporation--and how that might explain 9/11, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

There is $7.34 trillion worth of petroleum and another $3 trillion of natural gas in the Caspian Basin. A pipeline across Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India could bring it to market. (Included in this "market" are a number of gas-fired power plants in Pakistan, owned by US corporations, and, at the time, an Enron project in Dabhol, India.)

In 1995 the Bridas Corporation was negotiating with the Taliban in Afghanistan to build the pipeline. The U.S. Government and the Unocal Corporation were pressing the Taliban fiercely to decline. In January of 1996, however, Bridas signed the contract to proceed: it now controlled the flow of Caspian riches.

1. you have done an amazing amount of research
I keep coming back to the thought of what would bush have done without 9-11? His approval rating was in the bowl, the stock-market was getting ready to crash, many still didn't see him as competent or legitimate... and in that set of circumstances, he would have had to deal with the Enron bankruptcy. He was lucky indeed that 9-11 came along and changed him into the Emperor.

One thing I learned about Enron at the time was that they had millions and millions of dollars in public loan guarantees through the OPIC. This branch of the Export-Import Bank (EXIM) was doing business with Enron all over the world, including Dabhol. I wonder whatever happened to all those loans during the bankruptcy? Did the taxpayers make big payouts?

Anyway, when you look at all that was going on before 9-11 and put it into a bidness context, it sure looks like some people wanted, even needed that new Pearl Harbor.
