U.S. Forces Surround Iraq's Duluiya, Detain Dozens

DULUIYA, Iraq (Reuters) - U.S. and Iraqi forces surrounded the town of Duluiya north of Baghdad overnight, raiding homes and arresting dozens of suspected guerrillas, the Iraqi National Guards said on Tuesday.

Witnesses said U.S. helicopters struck surrounding orchards where suspected guerrillas were believed to be hiding.

There was no immediate word on casualties or comment from U.S. forces.

The raids followed clashes between rebels and U.S. forces that witnesses said sent families fleeing and plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

This will put all those US corp. right up on the stock exchange. The best part is the tax payers in the US pay to blow them up and then we pay the corp. to build them back up. It is called a Bush jobs Bill. I am sure it will be signed in the Rose Garden.

blow up their homes then shoot up the orchards so they can be homeless AND starve. no doubt they will love us even more now. well i certainly feel safer knowing a few hundred more people hate our guts.
