9. Especially since it takes 2-3 weeks to take effect besides. It was
always recommended that you get the shot before the end of Dec.

13. Shhh.. don't tell anybody.
Tom Delay would blow a gasket if heard the vaccine was from France, and thereby order all hospitals to dump their vaccine supplies and syringes into the nearest river. Then he'd pass a resolution to bomb France for attempted biological warfare.

8. Did they say when in January?
My daughter is a nurse and said if it's middle or end of January it's way past the height of flu season. Another thing to consider is Christmas, when a lot of germs go around due to all the people out shopping. January would be too late to deflect that. Also, she said it takes about 3 weeks for the vaccine to work at its optimum. So, it basically wouldn't take effect until February, which is past flu season.

Yes exactly. It's an announcement to sound like they're replying to an urgent problem when in fact the vaccine will already be past season by the time it arrives. I wonder how many people-- those with bad immune systems, young and elderly-- will wind up on hospital respirators because of this.

12. January = April based on GOP time
Of course, the GOP uses an alternate calendar from the rest of this and you have to add 3 months to everything they say. So January means April. Whenever the vaccine comes, most of the country will probably have already gotten sick anyway.
