Four Iraqi national guards have been killed and at least 80 injured in a major attack on their headquarters north of the capital, Baghdad.
Iraqi officials and the US military said insurgents fired several mortar rounds at the building in Mushahida, 40km (25 miles) from the Iraqi capital.

This broke about 5:30 am central time. DU'ers posted it. See "100 killed in Baghdad."

I followed this for about 3 hours and there has been virtually no coverage. CNN and other majors ignored it and Al-Jazeera only showed film which stopped at the moment when that picture in your story was taken.

Al-Jazeera has been kept out of Iraq since late July, but they usually get feed from Al-Arabiya. This seemed very strange today. I don't think they let anyone in to cover this and yet they said 6 mortars went off. This started as a huge story and was stifled. Very suspicious.
