Hello fellow DU'ers.

In a stunning turn of events in baseball, the Boston Red Sox came back from 3 games down in their best of seven series vs. the New York Yankees, to win the final 4 games and make it to the World Series.

Tonight, Roger Clemens is attempting to lead the National League's Houston Astros into their 1st World Series, by defeating the favored St. Louis Cardinals, 4 games to 3. Currently the score is Houston 2, St. Louis 1, top of the 6th!

I hope the Texas/Massachusetts battle happens but it looks doubtful with the Cards leading 4-2 in the 6th. BUT ultimately, whoever the Red Sox face, I hope they kick their butts!

Go Red Sox, win the World Series!

me, too! I love Center Fielder Johnny Damon. He's like a big grizzly bear with all that hair and big beard! I'm gonna be excited regardless who wins the NL Championship Series, because Boston is in the World Series regardless! How great it'd be if they could win after all these years.

But I also have to root for the Cardinals in the NL, even though it would be nice to see the Sox go through Clemens to win it all. I went to college in St. Louis (Washington University) so I like the Cards and hope they make it to the Series.
