Bush Ad Hints Terrorists Want Kerry to Win
WASHINGTON - Wolves prowl through a forest in a new television ad that says "weakness attracts those who are waiting to do America harm," a suggestion by President Bush (news - web sites)'s campaign that terrorists would seize on a John Kerry (news - web sites) presidency.

"In an increasingly dangerous world, even after the first terrorist attack on America, John Kerry and the liberals in Congress voted to slash America's intelligence budget by $6 billion," an ominous voice in the ad claims. "Cuts so deep they would have weakened America's defenses. And weakness attracts those who are waiting to do America harm."

Using powerful imagery, the ad suggests that the country would be vulnerable with Kerry at the helm and seeks to make the case that Bush's opponent doesn't understand the threat terrorists pose to the United States. It also attempts to undermine Kerry's credibility by portraying him as someone who shouldn't be trusted with keeping the country safe.

Reminiscent of Ronald Reagan (news - web sites)'s classic "Bear" ad of 20 years ago, the commercial titled "Wolves" shows a dense forest from above. Scurrying is heard as the camera plunges deeper into the woods and pans sunlight-speckled trees. Shadows move through the brush before animals are seen amid the forest........

2. Intercut the wolves with The Pet Goat. Problem solved.
While the wolves prowled in America, George sat doing nothing. Show it.

3. Literally using fairy tales
The only animal reference that should be allowed in GOP ads in the bull for complete and utter bullshit. It's one thing to scare people...it's another to literally use scary animals because you think people are really that stupid (though that's smart for Rove getting out his "base") And they can't even be creative...they just rip off Reagan's ridiculous ad and add a new scary animal...assholes.
It just shows you that no Republican can run an election without terror...and that's mendacious bullshit from the party with the worst record in keeping a country safe, especially when it counted.

Bullshit.

4. But We Know Who The Terrorists Want To Win!
The mullahs of Iran have endorsed Bush!

The leading lights of the Axis of Evil support Bush!

Iran, which assisted the terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attacks, and is busily acquiring nuclear weapons, has declared its preference for President of the United States to be Bush. These ferocious enemies of the United States agree, it will be much better for them and their plans if Bush remains in office. Republican Party is bending every effort possible to assist them in their designs against the people and freedom of the United States of America!

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

9. We are still waiting for
North Korea to weigh in...

Why wouldn't they endorse shit-for-brains as well?

Nucular weapons and all - they gotta love the shrubya for giving them the excuse to go ahead and develop them...

Less than two weeks until true REGIME CHANGE...GOTV...

Axis of Evil - Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld...

Not to ignore Rice, Powell, Feith, Wolfowitz, Pearle, and all the media whores...

But Axis's usually come in threes...

Edited on Fri Oct-22-04 04:39 AM by Englander
how so,Sir?
My understanding is Iran had no knowledge
or involvement in said attacks.
Also that the information the 9/11 commission
based it's report on was obtained from al-queda
detainees;ie, via torture and is therefore unreliable.

Apologies for questioning this suggestion, but I feel
a degree of clarification is needed.

5. And which one of the candidates was endorsed by Iran?
Which one has personal and business ties to the Saudis?

Which one is used for recruiting members of Al Queda?

God, a liberal media would actually bring up those kinds of points, I cannot wait to kick the whole lot into jail.

Helpful hints to avoid duplicates:
Read the Latest Breaking News forum first before posting. Look for high count threads for obvious stories that have a lot of interest and that have been posted previously.
Do a search of a just a few keywords. Running just the title sometimes does not bring up results.
If you don't have the search option because you don't donate, consider donating, or look on the right column of the latest page. Scan the column for posts made in the last day.
